Over the last few years the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica has blossomed. Talk about times that have changed, the small communities that were once just dots on the map, are coming together and gaining their stripes. As time marches forward on, we see collaboration along the coast, new services being offered and families establishing themselves in the rural areas. Fittingly, in our sixth edition, we share stories of those who have come to the area, been inspired, and have set out to create a new life for themselves. Whether you are living in Costa Rica, or here on vacation, you will quickly find inspiration of all kinds, and that can come from just about anywhere and anything! The drop of rain in a bucket makes you reflect on how vast the ocean is, the tiny ant carrying a leaf twice its size that makes you want to get in shape, or the setting sun in the ocean, that makes you want to create a better life for yourself and for others. Indeed, inspiration is cornerstone to creation.
“Love the life you have, while you create the life of your dreams.”
– Hal Elrod
In this edition, we explore the theme is about “Create Your Space”. The importance of being comfortable and inspired by your surroundings can not be emphasized enough. My mom once told me, I moved to Costa Rica because I needed the abundant beauty of Nature to surround me and to stimulate me to begin writing, I now know this to be true. The clean ocean air, lush jungle, wildlife galore, all of these elements encourage those who find themselves basking within its presence to create, to seek out the life of their dreams. And with many whom have created their lives in Costa Rica, they find themselves amazed with their own selves, having unleashed unknown potential and creativity. Each person who has chosen a life along the coast, has chosen beauty over facility, as I always say, life here has its challenges but holds its rewards, so let’s get to it!
First we lead with travel and adventure, it’s all about loosing yourself on an adventure to find yourself. Hands down, a definite perk of living in a touristic destination is that new activities are always popping up, interesting people show up and friendships are created manifest, alongside the endless beauty that is all of ours to enjoy. With that, I wish you happy travelling, may you discover childhood wonder, new friendships that last a lifetime, and memories that bring a smile to your face forever more.
¡Disfrutalo!
