Seven years ago, my family and I embarked on a life-changing adventure in Pavones, Costa Rica. Our fast-paced life in Florida had taken its toll, leaving little time for family or self-care. We were burned out and knew we needed a drastic change. Costa Rica offered the promise of a slower pace and a deeper connection to nature, so we took the leap.
Today, life flows with a rhythm that only the jungle can provide. The energy here is profoundly healing, offering a sense of balance that fuels both our personal and creative lives. It’s in this environment that I’ve found the inspiration to fully embrace my calling as a fine artist.

Before the move, my art was mostly commercial—logos, branding, and marketing campaigns. Fine art had always been a passion, but it was something I pursued on the side. However, moving to Costa Rica gave me the freedom and space to commit to fine art as a career. The transition was not without challenges, but my background in branding and marketing helped me build a personal brand that reflects who I am and resonates with my audience.
Social media has been an invaluable tool in sharing my work and connecting with a global community of art lovers. I enjoy engaging with collectors and other artists, exchanging ideas and techniques. Platforms like Instagram and Facebook have become virtual galleries, allowing me to showcase my journey and the unique pieces I create.
Living in Costa Rica has led to a variety of exciting commissions, from colorful wildlife acrylic paintings on canvas to a large mural of a vibrant red-eyed tree frog. Each piece carries a part of my soul, shaped by the jungle’s energy and the beauty of this special place.

Costa Rica has not only transformed my art but also my life. The lush landscapes, the symphony of the rainforest, and the warmth of the local community have become integral to my creative process. The connection between art and nature has never been clearer, offering boundless inspiration.
Every brushstroke tells a story of renewal, growth, and creative discovery. I am endlessly grateful to call this paradise home, where I can create, thrive, and share my vision with the world. Pavones is more than just a place; it’s a sanctuary that nourishes both my heart and my art.
