Ten years walking together

First we must congratulate Costa Pacífica LIVING on its tenth anniversary, a decade of changes in Costa Ballena, all our towns have grown rapidly. The communities have been strengthened thanks to the synergy of foreigners and nationals, some looking for a place to live and enjoy nature and others with the opportunity that this move offers to obtain their economic livelihood.

In terms of conserving our resources, more people means more pressure on them, but not everything should be seen as a negative impact. Many of our new neighbors have a genuine interest and passion for nature and thanks to them, we no longer feel as alone in the fight, for example, in the protection of sea turtles, as we did 10 years ago.

Many of our current collaborators also have children that we visited in schools years ago and now as adults have a different way of thinking than past generations, feeling identified with our organization.

A new season is upon us, having started in June and already many had wanted to volunteer. We hope to see each other in ten years! Let’s keep mind of our natural resources, so we can continue to enjoy for many generations to come. There is still a lot of work to do. It starts with each and every one.

Lend a Helping Hand
There is plenty to see and so much to do, why not include a charitable act like visiting a Wildlife Reserve or make a donation to local charity. It’s these acts of kindness that will allow the world to become one.

Offset Your Carbon Footprint
When you plant trees, you are directly cleaning the air. As a tree matures, it can consume 48 pounds of carbon dioxide per year as it turns that CO2 into parts of itself. It also releases enough oxygen to supply your needs for two years.
